Find out more about yourself and how you can achieve better than average health and beat stress! Each part of your body deserves special attention.
If you’re serious about your health, our extended screening package not only gives you the most important physiological information, but also gives you a more detailed picture of your vision, heart and other vital organs than just general health screening. During the tests, our specialist internist will help you review the results, compare them with your personal and family medical history, and then recommend any further tests and treatments you may need.
Review the tests included in the Special Attention package and add any tests you want to include, the results of which are important to you. If you request any additional tests recommended by your doctor or chosen individually by you within 5 working days of receiving your screening pack, we will give you a 10% discount on the list price of each item.
If you need other health assessments, check out the types of tests available at Doktor24’s specialist clinics, or ask about the optional additional tests available at our centres on favourable terms!
Our outpatient care prices include a HUF 2,800 medical administration fee, which is charged per visit, so if there are multiple visits on the same day, you will only be billed once.

This routine test checks the health of the heart by converting its electrical signals into signals that can be interpreted by a specialist. This can determine the number of beats per minute, the regularity of the heartbeats and the heart’s electrical conduction. It detects arrhythmias, conduction abnormalities, possible damage to the heart and problems with oxygenation of the heart muscle. It can even give an idea of the thickness of the walls of the chambers that make up the heart and the problems they have. No preparation is needed, but it is worth taking a few minutes’ rest before the test to allow the elevated heart rate caused by walking or climbing stairs to settle down.
A complete blood count will be done, which will reveal blood glucose levels, sedimentation, LDL and HDL cholesterol levels, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) levels, triglyceride, urea, creatinine levels, and liver enzymes (GOT, GPT and Gamma GT). It also detects important physiological parameters such as blood levels of alkaline phosphatase, bilirubin, sodium, potassium and magnesium, proteins, albumin, iron, ferritin, transferrin and blood clotting components (D-dimer). Also included are tests for myocardial damage (TnT), C-reactive protein (CRP), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (We) and creatine kinase (CK), creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB). A complete urinalysis will complement the blood test.
This quick scan is used to look for shadows and abnormalities in the chest organs, especially the lungs, heart, large vessels, ribs and diaphragm. This is an effective way of detecting warning signs such as pneumonia, lung tumours, TB, emphysema, pleural effusion, pulmonary congestion due to heart disease, pneumothorax. The assistant performing the scan will ask you to stand shirtless in the X-ray machine and take a deep breath and then hold your breath. The X-ray image will be ready shortly.
This routine examination is used to detect inflammation, stones and possible malignancies in the liver, bile ducts, gallbladder, pancreas, stomach and intestinal tract, and to examine the structure of the spleen, kidneys, adrenal glands, bladder, uterus, ovaries and prostate. This examination is particularly useful for detecting the causes of stomach and digestive complaints and for early screening for cancer. It is particularly important that ultrasound scans are performed on an empty stomach.
After taking a personal medical history, our gynaecologist will perform a thorough examination, including a manual and ultrasound examination of the genitals and a breast examination.
After taking a past medical history, the specialist performs physical examinations of the genitals and prostate health. This is followed by a prostate specific antigen (PSA) sample, which is extremely important in detecting inflammation and in the prevention of prostate cancer in men over 45 years of age, and in the early detection of tumours.
Vision health is not just about sharp vision, it also affects our daily activities, posture and even our sleeping habits. Vision screening not only detects common vision problems that need correcting, such as near and farsightedness, astigmatism or age-related presbyopia, but our expert eye doctors can also read early signs of diseases such as high blood pressure or diabetes.
During a thorough cardiological examination, our trained specialists will detect signs and symptoms of not only heart disease but also vascular disease. In this way, cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, cerebral vascular catastrophe and peripheral artery occlusion can be treated or prevented in time.
Our doctor will examine you in person before summarising the results of the other tests, help you to establish your personal and family medical history, and then give you a detailed assessment of your health and a written recommendation if he or she thinks further tests are necessary.
